RESPONSIBILITIES

As a mathematics teacher, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching. You are accustomed to assessing and evaluating different teaching strategies and adapting instruction accordingly, both individually and together with your subject team. At the school, we have high expectations for students and their ability to develop. As an educator, you create a teaching situation characterized by safety and a trusting climate. At the school, we work both in teams and subject groups. Collaboration and collegial learning are an obvious part of the mission. We want you to contribute to developing this area, work digitally, and see a culture of sharing as a given. At Vasaskolan, teachers are mentors for students in their own teams.

The secondary school is divided into program orientations. As a teacher in high school, you will work in both teams, subject groups, and individually with a focus on students' development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and teaching certification with the authority to teach chemistry and mathematics at the high school level. You are familiar with and knowledgeable about the high school curriculum and have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

To lead teaching in digital environments, it is important for the position that you have knowledge of and can quickly familiarize yourself with digital systems, as well as use digital tools to support students' knowledge development. If you have also developed your own methods to meet students in their knowledge development, it is an advantage.

Your role also includes mentorship and collaborating with the student health team to adapt teaching for students who need the right support.
